Les Mouettes d'Arvor Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil have been prepared by Jacques Gonidec in Concarneau in the same fashion for two generations. Small "shore boats" travel along the southern coast of Brittany using only sustainable fishing practices. The bounty derived from this venture is uniformly sized, plump, and freshly flavored.

The sardines are preserved in excellent quality extra virgin olive oil that helps to soften and dissolve the bones allowing the entire fish to be eaten and enjoyed. They are packaged in an easy to open flip-top can with a long shelf life. (We recommend rotating the can to an upside down position every few months to keep the sardines uniformly moist)

Les Mouettes Canned Sardines are easy to pack for lunch and are a treat eaten on their own with a little crusty bread to soak up the oil. Or, they are excellent as appetizers or in pasta dishes or salads.
